Tulli, Jr. has been established at the Penn State College of Medicine, located in Hershey. The scholarship was established in recognition of Tulli's 12 years of leadership as a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), where he also served on the Executive Committee as both Vice Chairman and Chairman. Tulli also dedicated his knowledge and thoughtful insight to the Agency's Audit Review Committee and Committee on Appeals. "As a respected school teacher long before embarking on public service career, Representative Tulli has a unique understanding of the importance of a higher education," said President and CEO of the Foundation, Michael H. Hershock. "Countless students and their families have benefited from his commitment to making education an affordable reality. He has served Pennsylvania's families well." Tulli retired from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and the PHEAA Board of Directors last year. |
