Nursing Initiative
To help reduce the Commonwealth's shortage of nurses, the Pennsylvania Higher Education Foundation embarked on its first charitable initiative in 2002 - a comprehensive nursing education financial assistance effort that provides Pennsylvanians with affordable access to nurse education through grant and loan forgiveness programs. The nursing initiative reflects the commitment of the Foundation to create effective programs and services to promote the importance of higher education and provide students with affordable access to higher education.
